The idea of the story is a boy with facal diferences and how we can be nice to them and respect them and treat them properly. Then out of the blue a girl sits with him at lunch her name was Summer his was Auggie. They hang out together and thers one kid that starts a plauge from toutching Auggie.

The title of the story is Wonder by R.J Palacio and the gist of the story is don't judge a boy by his face. judge him by his actions. The theam or moral of the story is don't judge a boy by his face. judge him by his actions. He has been home schooled and switches to a school for the first time. He has only been to school to drop Via of at her school. (8)

When Summer is in vited to a party and some one tells her to stop haning out with Auggie! Noboady hangs out with Auggie except Summer, Charlate and Jack! Jack punches Julian in the mouth and Jack gets detention. And detention is with Mr. Tushman(the princible)! Mr Tushman says “Jack this is very srious kids get expelled for this kind of thing Jack! I know you’re a good kid and I don’t want that to happen, but you have to explane your self.” (6)

Via thinks she can't possibly sit next to maranda on the first day of school she had went on the bus so Marandas mom would not bump into her. She went to Auggies room to ask him how his day was he said"it was O.K." Auggie cut off his pad swan braid. I could tell Auggie was upset. He was holding a toy train in his hands so I pulled it away and asked him again. He said "I told you I am fine! But Maranda called and said Hi. She told me to tell you to call her."(7)
